The ideal option for industrial liquids

The “KRAFT MODUL” technology allows the production of plastic tanks with capacities ranging from 20 to 3000 m³, with piping of any complexity.

The tanks can be insulated and used year-round as fire reservoirs, fish ponds, irrigation system pools, or storage tanks for food and industrial liquids.

Manufacturability

The tanks are made from high-quality chemical-resistant material, do not require a solid foundation, and have the capability for liquid heating.

Resistance and durability

The special design ensures a long service life and the strength of the tanks even during prolonged use.

Wide range

Production is carried out using modern European equipment, enabling the manufacturing of structures of any complexity.

Functionality

The modular tanks are made from high-quality materials and can be used for both drinking water and chemical substances.

Quick assembly

Due to the manufacture of containers from typical modular elements, large tanks are assembled in the shortest possible time.

Technical support

Full-service maintenance, qualified engineer consultation, and comprehensive project support, including general construction works.

Modular tanks, assembled from corrugated steel sheets, have recently been successfully used to store water and various liquid substances. The operational durability of such tanks is ensured by the well-thought-out design of the galvanised steel frame. The watertightness of the prefabricated tank is ensured by a special plastic liner.

Field of application

The modular tanks manufactured by KRAFT are prefabricated process tanks for storing various types of liquids, including water. Such prefabricated tanks with a volume of 20 m3 to 3000 m3 have proven themselves in various fields. Using modular tanks, you can quickly organise the following with low financial and time costs:

  • Provide water supply to individual industrial, commercial or public facilities, as well as to summer cottages, gardening associations and cottage communities.
  • To accumulate and store a supply of drinking or industrial water.
  • To arrange a fire protection reservoir.
  • To build a warehouse for UAN, an effective liquid fertiliser that is a combination of carbide and ammonium nitrate.
  • Build a container for oil (sunflower, rapeseed, etc.).

Also, modular water structures are the best option for use as artificial reservoirs for breeding fish and fish fry, as well as crayfish and shrimp.

Features of the modular tank design and installation

Prefabricated modular tanks from KRAFT have the following design:

  • The tank walls are assembled from corrugated galvanised steel sheets on a pre-prepared metal frame. Thanks to the corrugated profile of the sheets, the strength characteristics of the finished container are two or three times higher than those of a similarly sized product made from standard “smooth” steel sheet. In addition, the sheets of KRAFT modular tanks are fastened with bolts with a strength factor of at least 8.6. The safety margin of the finished product is 2:1.
  • The basis for installing the tank is a strip foundation. Its depth is at least 2 metres. Fastening to the finished concrete base is carried out using clamps. A special fastening system ensures the static state of the tank both in the event of gusty winds and earthquakes of up to 7 points.
  • The material for the roof can be either sheet metal or plastic. It depends on the overall dimensions and purpose. Modular water tanks intended for irrigation and used as artificial fish ponds can be operated without a roof.
  • The watertight liner made of elastic polymeric fabric is responsible for the watertightness of the tank throughout its entire service life. It can be easily replaced if necessary.

For use of the modular tank in winter, KRAFT insulates the structure with mineral wool from 50 mm to 140 mm thick. It also provides for the installation of a heating system consisting of thermal electric heaters with a capacity of 4-12 kW, temperature sensors, a control unit and protection automation.
If the customer’s production technology provides for quick draining or filling of the liquid, the modular tank is tied with appropriate fittings and equipped with the necessary pumping equipment.

Advantages of KRAFT modular tanks

There are many reasons why many stakeholders in Ukraine choose to install modular tanks instead of traditional vertical steel tanks. The main ones are:

  • Minimal amount of general construction work. Only a strip foundation needs to be prepared.
  • Cost-effectiveness. The cost of modular tanks is an order of magnitude lower than similar structures made of reinforced concrete or sheet metal with an anti-corrosion coating.
  • The environmental safety and high quality of the polymeric liner membrane allows storing water, food, liquid fertilisers, and slightly aggressive liquids in the tank.
  • Quickly assembled design. A 100 m3 tank is assembled during a working day on a prepared foundation.
  • Minimum dimensions when disassembled. For example, a 2000 m3 tank can be transported by one truck.
  • The warranty period is 5 years. Each elastic polymer liner is thoroughly tested for leaks in the production environment.

Lifting equipment is not required for the installation of a modular tank with a capacity of up to 1000 m3. Such tanks can be assembled indoors, in places with limited space (for example, in basements).

Advantageous offer from KRAFT
